Director Alan Yang was invited to join the fellows network of the George Bush Foundation for U.S.-China Relations

Our executive director Dr. Alan H. Yang was invited to join the George H.W. Bush Foundation for U.S.-China Relations as a senior fellow, making him the only academic from Taiwan in the Foundation’s network of fellows.

The George H.W. Bush Foundation for U.S.-China Relations has the mission to develop U.S.-China relations in ways that reflect the ethos, spirit, and values of President George H.W. Bush. The Foundation’s work includes Policy Conversations, Business, Trae & Investment, and Track 2 Diplomacy.

Expert in international relations and regionalism in Southeast Asia, Dr. Yang’s research interests cover foreign policy and soft power analysis with a specific focus on China’s Confucius Institute and Taiwan’s New Southbound Policy towards Southeast and South Asia. Dr. Yang’s expertise will diversify the Foundation’s works, especially for his analysis on strategies towards the Indo-Pacific region.
